Made with water proof cordura, heavy poly pro staps and lined with canvas from a homeade pattern.
It's not a great picture of it - sorry (dog for scale). I am actually pretty thrilled with how it came out - have a few mods that I am going to make to the pattern on my next version(to the shapo, add more pockets, line with light foam) - plus I don't like the fabric that I chose for the outter flap. I'd love to hear suggestions.

Nice! Did you get the cordura on Sunday? Do they have a good selection of that kind of stuff? I need to source some materials for outerwear, and don't know where to look.

my favorite messenger bag feature is a back panel pocket (on the outside) so the you can slip things into it easily (without opening and closing the flap).
My old bag had a zip pocket on the flap, but it tended to get filled with heavy junk that I should have been putting on the inside.
